As part of this process, letters will issue to traders on a phased basis, over the next eight weeks. The letters will outline the most critical Brexit preparation steps they need to take, in addition to having a customs registration (i.e. an Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number.) Revenue’s focus is on helping and supporting those businesses that will be impacted immediately by Brexit, from the moment it happens.
